Water is the essence that flows through all my work – sacred, life-giving, and ever-shifting. It connects each series I create, both as a metaphor and as a source of deep artistic and personal inspiration!

OctoDance

In this series, the female form stands in for humanity – burdened by disconnection from the natural world. Yet hope pulses beneath the surface. Gaia, the Earth’s spirit, appears in the form of an octopus: adaptive, intelligent, capable of regeneration. Through her, we’re invited into a dance of restoration – a journey back toward harmony with the living world. The octopus becomes a symbol of our potential to heal, evolve, and return to the source.

BioMorphic Series

These works emerge from nothing – shapes morph and shift, echoing the evolution of life itself. Each painting invites meditation, its metallic elements reflecting light and shadow to reveal different moods throughout the day. Created in part for the Darwin 200 exhibition, the series poses a provocative question: If Darwin were to arrive in 2025, what would he find? These forms speak to his belief in transformation, shared origins, and the unpredictable path of time.

Tranquille

A tribute to the quiet geometry of nature. Inspired by my love for wild places – mountain rivers, ocean tides, the stillness between stones – Tranquille captures fleeting moments that resist permanence. These are not traditional landscapes, but impressions of time, peace, and memory. Water moves through each work as a presence – impossible to contain, yet always remembered.

“The poor long for riches, the rich long for heaven, but the wise long for a state of tranquillity.”
